Hayden Wyatt
March 31, 2009
8 pounds 8.2 ounces
19 3/4 inches long
Labor lasted 18 hours if you do not count the days prior that I was in labor and dilating.
It was slow going until I hit 8 cm and our amazing nurse "B" had just checked me and stated that I was 8 cm with a lip and to call the doc at his office to let him know and to stated that the last baby came very soon after when I was that far along. B got up from the bed and when she turned her back I yelled that something was down there and when she removed the blankets she boldly yelled "Oh SHIT" . Hayden's head was on his way out and Greg turned to help grab the delivery table with all the goodies when his whole body plopped out on the bed!!
He was very active and alert and scored an 8 then 9 on his apgar.
Pictures are next!!!!

update o Hayden
Ok I went to the OB on Monday of last week and got stripped, I was 5 pounds up on my weight. I went back on Wednesday to be stripped again and had lost that 5 pounds. I started labor on Thursday morning and it lasted until Saturday morning. I was in the hospital on Thursday night, but sent home as my doc did not feel like coming in to do anything and I was not dialiting fast enough.
So as of Thursday I was up to 3cm from the .5cm on Monday. THe pain stayed away until yesterday, but was not enough to take that trip to the hospital. The doc had me in the books to be induced today March 30th. I will go in today at 3:30 cst to get started, but wont see my doc until he closes his office around 5ish.
I will have Hayden at somepoint today depending on how long it takes for him to get here after my water is broken. I do not expect it to take too long as I am sure I am up to at least 4-5 cm by now.

New Due Date
I went in for my check up last week. According to the old due date I was like only 35 weeks preggers, but the Doc looked at my belly, felt around at Hayden and then measured the belly and stated that we may have had the dates wrong....DUH I have been telling him that for the last few weeks, but whatever dude.
So I am what I thought I was and am 37 weeks today!!! This has been the magical week for me with the last 2 kids, so lets hope something happens. I have been having TONS of contractions and last night I had some that were far more painful then the ones in the past, so that is a good sign.
Back to the appt......
I have only gained about 5 pounds total which is a good thing for me for after Hayden is born. Hayden looked really good but was still unable to get a picture of his face since he was head down again and hopefully stays that way since he is a big boy and the doctor also noted that he was a big boy and will more then likley not turn again. I am not sure that he could if he wanted to, but you never know.
The doc will see me back this week for my next check up and then I will skip a week if I am still preggers since it will be spring break during the week of St. Patty's day and my doc will be on vacation with his family, he did say that if I had Hayden while he was gone that the other doc that I saw when I had the miscarrige would be the one to deliver me, so that is good that i already know that doc too.

just to say I did it
here is a shot of my big belly at 32 weeks, the scars (strech marks) are from when I was preggers with Tori. This is actually the smallest that I have ever been at 32 weeks!!!

34 week OB appt
Ok well today took a bit for the appt, but that was expected with all the issues I have been having these past several days. I got checked and all the contractions are doing NOTHING to my cervix, so its still closed at this time.
He measured Hayden and he is 5+ pounds and is once again Breech!!! We talked about c-sections since I have been having the contractions almost non stop and decided that it will be more decided once I get closer to that 37 week mark, right now there is plenty of fluid for him to move in and flip around again. If the c-section is done, no one will be able to see him born ecept the Doc as no one is allowed in the room since I will be put fully under since I cant have a epidural done.
I was on the stress test for 45 minutes and the doc noted that i had quite a few contractions during that time (10ish) so instead of having me come every 2 weks, I am to come in every week from now on. He is also doing this ebcasue my blood pressure was high and that was the casue of the dizzyness have been having the last several days too.
I also had the GB strep test done incase Hayden decided to come earler then 37 weeks.

32 week OB appt.
Today I had my appt and it went good. Got antibotics for this crap that I have had for some time, I hope it rids me of it soon!!
Hayden is FINALLY head down, but has his face tilted up as though he is looking at the opening to see how he will fit!! :) So that is why we do not have a pretty picture of his face today.
I m measuring a little big, but we knew he was on the larger side from the last visit when he was measured. I did not gain weight, Instead I lost 4 pounds, this brings my total weight gain for this whole 32 weeks to 1 pound - WOW I know amazing, Dr. Chartrand is not worried as Hayden is growing just fine, just means I will be smaller after I give birth!!!
I go back in 2 weeks to see the doctor again!

31 weeks
W just hit the 31 week mark nd so far everything is going pretty good baby wise. I have been sick for the last 3 weeks and tomorrow we have an OB appt and I will see if anything can be done to get me better. Right now I am not sleeping at night because I cough all night long no matter what I take.
Hayden is a very active little boy and loves to make it very hard to do anything due to his ability to get into some very uncomfortable positions. I just hope this means that he will turn head down soon.

28 week OB visit today
It went pretty good. I have only gain a total of 5 pounds so far, that means I am pretty much all baby!!
Hayden is measuring on the big side, so that is not good news for me if I make it full term, but that is highly doubtful, even Dr. Chratrand does not think I will make it to April. The good thing with him being big is that if born early he will do better then if he was on the smaller side.
The contractions are still on and off since my ordeal last Tuesday when I had them for over 10 hours and had them stopped with a shot of trebutaline. Dr. Chartrand gave me a script for the pill version of the meds to take when the contractions get bad again to keep me out of the hospital and Hayden in until he said 36 weeks. SO that would mean a March baby, we dont have a March Birthday here yet. :)
The littlest things are setting me off lke him moving too much, walking to for more then 5 minutes, riding for a long time in the car and stuff like that.
Hayden is breeched and the Doc is worried about that if the contractions can't be stopped and Hayden is not fliped over, then it would result in a c-section, so best option is keeping his butt put for several more weeks.

ER visit Wednesday Tuesday Night
Ok so to start off with I started haing cramps like I have been for the last 4 weeks at about 11 am when I went to pick Arwen up from her school on base. By the time I got back home I was puking and hurting really bad. I was now having regular contractions 1 minute apart and that lasted for about 3 hours and then backed off to 2-4 minute apart contractions. I drank a lot of water and layed on my left side as they always state in the books and it did not help. I threw up the water a few hours later.
I called Greg and he was in Harlem (sp) TX on an out & Back and wold not be home for at least 3 more hours, with not having anyone to watch the kids for me or anyone to pick Tori up from school, I stuck it out. When Greg got home I went to the Labor & Delivery at our hospital and checked in. I was there from 5 -11 to make sure they got the contrcations stopped for good before sending me home. I was not put on bed rest, but told to get plenty of rest, keep my OB appt and to drink tons of water per doctors orders. I was given a shot of stuff to stp the contractins, given a full bag of fluids via IV and checked. I was not dialited, but my cervix was thining out and had dropped pretty low.
I got to see my doctor on the 13th at 9am for my regular appt.

The race is on
I have been having a few contractions here and there that are really noticeable, more than a painless braxton hicks. These are painful to some degree and come and go. I tend to get more when I am over active with things like being on my feet for too long.
So the race is on to make sure I do what I can to keep them at bay until Hayden is old enough to be born. I will not be surprise to be put on bed rest if they get worse, but right now a few here and there are not enough to change anything down stairs if you know what I mean.
Lets hope that they back off a bit, or just keep being sporadic!

22 weeks 5 days
So far this pregnancy has been flying by. I guess it helped not knowing I was pregnant until I was a little over 8 weeks, and being so busy with Tori in school, Arwen in school and me doing school.
I have had some allergy or virus issue this whole time and it has caused a ear infection that resulted in a ruptured ear drum, and now a second ear infection with no hearing in that ear. I hope hat the hearing will return after seeing an ENT doc and they do what ever needs to be done to fix it.
I have also just started having cramps if I have been on my feet too long (more then 2 hours) all over the whole belly area, so I am going to have to limit my time on my feet.
Hayden has been getting very, very active in the last week and loves to hit daddy's face when he lays his face to my tummy.

Greg said that he can change his mind up to siging the paper for the birth cert., but I hope he does not, I really like the name.

20 Weeks Today
I am now 20 weeks along today and feeling every bit of it. I guess the more kids you have and the sooner after one you get pregnant the harder it is. I hurt everywhere and am feeling like I am way more than 20 weeks. I am showing pretty good if you have not noticed from my last picture I posted.
I go and see the doctor on the 24th which is next week and we hope to get a confirmation of the sex of the baby. Greg and I are tired of calling the baby it, since we do not know if its a boy or girl we do not want to say him or her yet. I know at the next appointment I have to have the complete blood workup done since I passed that off last time. I was not feeling good and did not want a bunch of vials of blood taken out or I would have most certainly passed out.
I know I will be having the sugar test coming up and am NOT looking forward to that as I feel that I may have an issue this time around. I am starting to finally feel the baby move around, its odd that it took so much longer to feel it then with all the others, but I guess it was just not ready to let me know it was there!! It is funny how I was not feeling it for a long time, but now its noticeable enough to wake me up.

Ob Appt for 16 weeks
We had our appt on Friday and tried to see the sex of the baby. We looked for a long time at the same image then the doc would move the wand around and then go back to the same image, this went on for a bit and we both thought the same thing. The doc said "Well I do not see any sign or any sort of a penis", I asked if that bright white 3 lines was girl parts or cold it be something else since the bones are showing as white now that they are getting harder. He stated that it looks as if we will have all girls. He then preceded to joke with Greg about not being able to get boys, and that I keep killing off the male sperm, that my body is all for girl power. Our Doc is such a funny dude.
So as it stands, it looks as if we are destined to have all girls in that house, but that is ok with us, guess we do better with girls or something. The girl name we picked out is Piper Addison.
We have our next appt on November 24th at 9am, we will look again then to comfirm that its a girl since the baby will be much bigger then.
I had lost nother pound from my last appt. I gained 2-3 pounds at the first apt, then lost 3 and then lost 1, so I really have only lost weight and not gained yet.

OB appt for 12 week point
We got to see the baby a bit better then the last time. We saw a strong heartbeat and that was about it. We will not be able with his machine to see the sex until later on. He has an older machine and we were going to head across the border like everyone does to have a 4-d ultrasound done, but the give a parents break at the base is at night and we are not to be over there at night. We just have to wait until November's and hope its during the day. This was the kids will all be at the CDC and we can go alone to have it done.
I did do the new IntelliGender test this morning and got my result (not telling yet) and was shocked at how positive the answer was, there was no mistaken the color of the test. If you have no idea what I am talking about check it out at www.intelligender.com . It is this new thing that tests your urine the same way that ap regnancy test does, but it looks for other things. it will change colors after 10 minutes and says weather or not your carring a boy or girl. The lab test rate was like 90 %, but real world was only 83% (due to those who did not follow directions)
We will wait until we get an ultrasound to comfirm, even tho a few people have sid in a study that the intelligender was right and the ultrasound tech was wong!!!
