Poor Baby

Lexi was puking last night before bed, she has picked up a bug of some sort, she has been having ucky BM's and pucked the night before also. She seems fine during the day, but at night she will puke up her food and drink before bed. I hope it does not last long.

Lexi was not sure what to think about her birthday cake. She really was not into it. She picked off the sprinkles and ate those and licked the icing off her fingers and then was all done!!

Happy Birthday LEXI

Today is our baby girl's 1st birthday!!!

We had her 12 months well baby visit today too at the base a little bit ago and it seemed to go ok. She has actually gone down on the chart for her weight and if hovering on the last line of the growth chart and the doc wants to keep an eye on her weight to make sure she does not go below it and end up off the curve.
The doc put Lexi on a HIGH fat diet to see if that helps he gain weight between now and her 15 months check up. She will require Lexi to come in every 3 months to be checked until she is 2 years old.

Tonight we will have a cake for her that is just her size and then we also have the big cake with her name on it for all of us to eat. We will make sure to take pictures, hopefully the camera will behave for me to do this on the digital to post on here later.

Lexi Walking

She is super fast little bugger for a 10 month old

On the move

Lexi just in the last week or so has gone from kinda walking / more crawling to fully walking all over the house. The only time she crawls is when tired and needs to get somewhere in a hurry.

She is trying so hard to run, but finds herself on the floor instead. The little girl is trying to grow up so fast, I hate it. We also noticed that not only is she now trying to get in both top center teeth, but lso is getting in her 2 bottom teeth on either side of the first two center ones. So that is 4 teeth at one time trying to cut, no wonder she is a bit cranky these days!!

Lexi's 9 months well baby check up

Today we found out that Lexi's length, head and weight are no longer in the same % and the weight is the issue. She is not gaining like they want and due to other issues brought up by me, we are to watch her close for more changes and then in 2 months or her 12 month check up have her tested for these following things:

Gluten Allergy
Malabsorption issues
Celiac Disease

We hope that the issues she is going through is just viral and allergies, but if things do not change with her stools and feeding and weight, then she will go though quite a few tests in a few months.

Lexi Walking

Lexi has been for the last few days been taking several steps unassisted. Last night she took 8 steps towards me from the door way. A few minutes ago she took about 4 steps to reach the cat or what she calls "tat"

Not much longer and she will be making more and more steps in walking. This is much, much sooner then the other two girls. Tori walked at 17 months and Arwen walked at 12 months. Lexi will be 10 months of the 13th, so that is cool. I know I walked at 9 months.

Lexi's 6 month well baby check up

We had it done a bit late as getting in to see the new peds doc on base is hard.
She is doing good and growing, but they may think that she is having an issue with reflux. She spits up ALL the time and ALL day long. They are going to give her until her next check up to see about putting her on meds or not. We changed her formula to the Enfamil AR which is for spitting up and its helps. She spits up still, but its about half as it was before.

She is in the 10% for her weight and height, she is a small one for now. She can end up being like Arwen and always be on the small side or hit a huge growth spirt and get higher up on the charts.

They also think that she may have allergies since she has had a runny nose since she was about 3-4 months old. I am using the little noses stuff that you pt in her nose to help, but its still runny.

I was going through her things and realized that she can still wear her 0-3 month stuff and that only the things like onsies that button between the legs are a bit snug.

I also got out her medium sized gDiapers, wondering if she can start wearing them yet, and they are still big on her. I had someone tell me that their little girl wore the small size until about 17 pounds, not sure how much Lexi weighs, but we have her 6 month appt. next week. I know she is almost 7 months, but the peds at the base are super backed up since the one left and someone else took over.

I have tons of new pictures but i will have to get them uploaded from the camera to the computer to add to here. I will do that soon.

We got a teether

We will not have a toothless grin too much longer. She has been teething for a bit and is nothing but a wet drooling baby right now. She will chew on anything she can get in her mouth.
Yesterday was her first time with jar food and her first one was organic applesauce. She loved it and ate the whole jar. Today she ate a nother whole jar in no time.
I am laughin at mommy, she is making funny faces at me trying to get a picture of me laughing.
Tori got me a new stuff horse and I am trying to figure out how to get it into my mouth to chew on, but mommy poped this other thing in my mouth.

Slober, slober and more slober

Ok so I am now dealing with a cranky baby, wet shirts the second we put them on and constant chewing of our hands or her own. YEP that is right, our baby is teething. This has been going on now for the last 2-3 weeks and now her gums have that feeling like they got a little scratched up. The gums are also squishey, and if you know newborn gums are hard as rocks.

We are not breastfeeding that much, or should I say she is not feeding directley from me that much. The teething is making it harder for her to want to nurse and she gets up set, so she drinks better from a bottle, so I have been spending a lot of time pumping, but that is ok as long as she gets the food she needs.

I have got new pictures, but they will be posted later since I got to clean up the girls mess, even though I just got dones busting my butt and cleaning and mopping the floors, but hey they are kids!!
