Arwen's birthday Party

Arwen got brave

Arwen decided to finally get her ears pierced. Tori got the one that closed up due t infection re-done and Arwen thought she was finally big enough to do it too. She came so close to crying when they did the first one, and they was almost too scared to have the second hole done, but did it anyways after a little talking from mommy and daddy.

Its now Summer Break

Tori graduated from Kindergarten on Friday June 5, 2009. It was a very cute ceremony and they got little certificates with the date of graduation on them. We also got a cap and gown picture with her school information printed on it.

Arwen is also done with the fall term of her part day enrichment at the base CDC. We have her signed up to start back in August when Tori starts back to school in late August. They are both glad to be out of school for a while.

This summer is going to be a busy one for this family. We have two major trips planned for this summer. We are leaving June 18th to go up to Little Rock, AR to visit Brooke, Daniel and Tweek, then off to KY to visit our new friends Dylana, Jamison and Pepper, then after that off to NC to see grandma Keith who is sick, nana, & papa, and then off to another part of NC to visit meemaw, pawpaw, brother and his family and then we are taking the girls to Chimney Rock in NC for a fun thing. We will be heading home the south way through FL to visit Kim, Jim & SHelby and to see our house and the renter and see what all he has done. We are going to attempt to squeeze a lot of visits into a small amount of time!

Our secnd Trip will be at the end of July first part of August. I am off to th Stampin Up Convention again this year, so we are driving like we did last year up to UT, and will visit Greg's Sister and family and then off to ID to see his Brother and family.

We went the other day and got Tori and Arwen enrolled into soccar for this fall. They will start I think the first part of Septmeber. They are looking forward to playing as they love to play in the yard. They will be on seperate teams as Tori will fall into the other age group after July 25th before the practice and games start, so Greg and I may be spliting up the kids and going off to seperate games.

The guy stated that we need 41 feet of area for it. The kids put water on the bottom of the slide to cool it off since it was in full sun and got very hot for the kids, it eneded up being a water slide

Arwen's 4th birthday

The above is her birthday party with her friends from the CDC. They had a Tinkerbell theme party with a pinata, and HUGE bouncy castle. I will post that in the next post.

The below pictures are of her actualy birthday day on Sunday. She wanted a brownie cake, so I made brownies and left in a single sheet and decorated it.

Arwen's 3rd Birthday

Arwen and her cake! She picked out the Strawberry Shortcake as the one she wanted Her blowing out the candle, it took her a ew tries to get it. I had to in the end blow with her from the behind to help get it out

Arwen was a BIG girl yesterday

While at the base for Lexi's 2 week check up we took the girls into the immuzation room to get their flu shots, they said they could have the mist since they were old enough, so they were happy about that, but Arwen needed a shot for her second Hep A and they did it in the arm this time and she did not cry or even whimper. She was such a big girl with it.

Arwen's update - Broken Toe

Arwen is doing very good. Her toe is looking better and we think that she may be able to keep her toe nail, its not looking like it will fall off yet. She is moving around pretty good and only has complaints when she has been up and around for too long.

Tuesday Arwen and Tori were playing out front while Greg was working on the truck. They kept playing with my steaping stones and Arwen dropped it on her bog toe. She had no shoes on and it broke the bone in her toe right at the tip near the cuticle. It busted the skin open. Greg felt it was not really that big of a deal to take her in, but after talking to the nurse at the base she told me to head over to the ER. We took her in and had deff. broken that toe, but it was not complete, so they just wanted us to make sure it was not bumped, but puting her in shoes that were to big for her with a hard bottom on them. They gave us pain meds and an antibotic for the broken skin and the fact that the nail is coming off at some point.

It looks really bad and we feel so bad for her. She refuses to try and limp to get around and since Greg can't carry her I am the one doing it. Its really hard at 9 months pregnant to carry around a 28 pound child all the time.
