I started a photography business a while back and its finally taking off. I have several photo shoots coming up and several more that will be booking with me in May once I know the date of my surgery. I am so excited that its finally starting to look up for me in this field as I LOVE taking pictures of people and other things.

I got approved to have the lap-band surgery and saw the doctor already once. I am to be having the surgery before the end of May. I am finally going to be sheeding these 100 pounds that I have been carring around for over 10 years now. We all are excited for me to be getting this done and cant wait.

I dstarted back to school back in October at Kaplan University to finish up my BS degree in Criminal Justice. I have completed one term so far and did really great, now my next term starts on Tuesday and will run 10 weeks. my goal is to bring my GPA up more from where it is. Its not bad, I got a 2.96, but I would like to see it above 3.0.

Greg starts back to school this week so that he will be able to finally fly. he will be doing school until mid Feb. We do not know his schedule for school yet, but should know that once he goes the first day and finds out.

Biggest Loser Competition

I have decided to join the biggest loser competition that the base fitness center is putting on starting Jan. 10th. We have our first weigh in Jan 3-7. We have to be in groups of 4 for a team and I just joined a group of ladies as the 4th person. I am going back on the south beach diet that worked so well for me in the past, getting back on my ab lounge and will be hooking up my Wii fit that Greg got me a long time ago that never got hooked up.
i am sure that our team will also have scheduled times that we will meet at the base gym and work out too, just as long as its when Malissa can watch the kids or Greg can.
I hope our team wins!!

Greg made it home just in time to carve pumpkins and then take the kids trick or treating, it was great.

I had an appointment and a lump was found, so i go Monday November 15th to see if I have breast cancer or not, we are praying that its the not and all is fine, but its still something we are worried about as my doctor was not happy with what she found when doing the exam and set me up for both the mamogram and ultrasound to find out what exactly it is that I have going on.

Tori and Arwen are doing great in school. They are loving their new school, its a great small school of only about 500 kids and are loving their teachers.

Tanner , Hayden and Lexi are doing great, growing like weeds, each day is a new day of discovery for them.

We had a photo shoot done last week and soon I will have the pictures back and will be posting them once Cindi is done with the cd for me, the preview of a few of them turned out amazing, she did an amazing job with them, cant wait to see them all.

Greg is @ March ARB in CA doing school until at least the end of october if not until mid November leanring to fly the new aircraft that he will be flying here at Cannon AFB when he returns. This is a new adventure for him as he is used to being in the pilot's seat when flying an airplane and not a box in a building no where near the airplane, but he is flying an unmanned airplaned, so its like playing a video game for him, just when it crashes, a real plan crashes!

He is doing really good and so far is doing very well in the sims with the fake airplanes.

Clovis, NM so far

We have been here since the first of August and are loving it so far. This place is really great, the weather is great and the people are also great. our neighbors are some really great epople who are willing to help out with what ever I need while Greg is gone.
We are also loving the house so much, its great not being in a rat trap of a house finally and the kids are much happier to have a place they can play outside and inside without feeling like we are all ontop of each other.

Greg is leaving Saturday morning to school in Ca and will be gone until mid November. He gets out of class on November 19th, but wont be home for a few days after that as its a few day drive back home. He will be learning to fly the new aircraft that he will be flying here at Cannon AFB. I will be home alone with all 5 kids for that long period of time roughing it as a single parent.

Our BIG move

Its OFFICIAL!!!!!

We move July 2010 to Clovis, New Mexico, we have picked out a house, but have not got the final pin down of it yet, so no new address yet until that happens, but we have our fingers crossed that we get that house as it is perfect for our big family.

We spent a few days at the start of the month there and fell in love with the place even thought it was flooding due to heavy rain, but with living in Del Rio and their flooding issues we are use to that! :)

Greg will be sigined out of the base July 15th if all goes well with the paper work and it all gets signed on time and then he will be on leave after that and all the packing will start and it will be non stop after that date to get it all done before the end of the month. The owners of the hosue we want need time to move out of the house and so we are not moving as early as planned and giving them time to get out (if we do indeed get that house) We have to be in Clovis the first week of August to get Tori and Arwen enrolled in school for the m to start that second week for school as it starts early there then we are use to from here.

The one above was when we were admitted to the ER that morning, He was really bad off His Resp. is to be between 30-60 breaths per minute and there were 95, so they said he was close to respitory failure. His lumbar puncture for the meningitis has like the white blood cells at almost 3,000 and for him they are to be in the 10 range, so they were ubber high.

His fevers the first few days were from 102.9 - 99.9 and then finally dropped down to his normal of 97.4 ish. We did find out after an infussion of Ampancillin (sp) that he is now classified as allergic to all Penacillins (sp) like i am.

We got anything from the size of a small marble up to a bit bigger then a golfball. my flex got messed up really bad, the USAA guy came out today to look at the damage and the roof will have to be fixed and repainted due to double hits in the same area and some waves, then the hood will be done by paintless dent removal.

My friend's baby boy born February 2, 2010 passed away after being in the hopspital since April 14th on Sunday, April 25, 2010. He will be missed more than anyone will know by his mommy Melissa, Daddy Daniel and big Brother Caden.

Today I am 27 weeks plus a little. Tanner Jackson was breeched and kicking all over the place. We looked again and sure enough there are boy parts between the legs.
I was told that I passed my sugar test . . YEA. I go back in 3 weeks when I will be 30 weeks pregnant. Things are moving along pretty good even though I am past 30, this is #5 and I got pregnant so soon after just having a baby. I am having trouble sleeping at night now with my growing tummy in my way and heartburn like crazy, but not much longer to go before its all over.

Greg's assignments guy Pete called him today and said that he has us down for us to be at Clovis, NM and checked in to the base for 13 August. He said that he has Gre in a school slot starting 30 August which he will be going to either Vegas or a place in NM for several months.

He said not to do anything major until the orders are actually in hand as things do tend to change last minute, but this was the plan for us.

We decided that we would look at moving around the 15th or so of July so that we could get settled in and Tori and Arwen enrolled in school before it starts on the 9th of August.

So I FINALLY see the end of the road for Del Rio, TX and know that we will be moving in July and saying good-bye to this place and friends.

Arwen decided to finally get her ears pierced. Tori got the one that closed up due t infection re-done and Arwen thought she was finally big enough to do it too. We were not able to meet the date of move for the Korea assignment, so we are going to Clovis, NM. We are to move sometime between my delivery with Tanner and when school starts in NM which is August 10th.

Greg got a call from his functional yesterday and was told of an assignment to Yong San Korea. The report date is June, but Pete told Greg that he could make it September 15th since we will be having Tanner in June.
We will have to find home for all our pets since we know that no one we know would be willing to hold onto our pets until we come back in 2 years. We are going to ask Pete if he can move the move date to August 15th so that it does not mess with the school time for Tori and Arwen. We would live on base and hope to be able to get one of the (4) 5 bedroom places that they have for Greg's rank.
This is our last chance to go overseas and the ability to go to any base within reason afterwords is a great deal.

Greg went to San Antonio and talked with his functional the other day about assignments.
We are going to be on the summer 2010 move list and that list comes out in December. We found out about a few places we can go with what Greg can do as a job and the list is:
Stuttgart Germany
Osan Korea
Cannon AFB

Stuttgart Germany is first on our list for jobs, as we would LOVE to go to Germany for 2 years. The second is Osan Korea which still puts us over seas.

Hayden's late 2 month well baby checkup

I took him in today, he was 3 months old, but it was for his 2 month check up, The clinic is packed, so it took a while to get his appt.

He was a hefty 12.6 pounds and 24 inches long. he is a big boy and growing like a weed.
He also got his first set of shots and he did good, he did not cry long unlike Lexi who about passed out due to holding her breath.

He does have extra fluid in his nut sack and they said it should go away by 1 and if not then her would have to have it fixed

We went this past weekend to Dallas World Aquarium and it was a blast. This is the girls and Greg in front of the flamingo's. This place was amazing for being right in the middle of town. It was HUGE for it being inside of business like buildings. Lexi would not stop looking at them long enough for the picture, she was entranced by these creatures.
